If CHP would spend just the half amount of time they spend on the "Click It or Ticket" campaign on drivers that carelessly put other motorists in danger (i.e. speeding, unsafe lane changes, unsafe vehicles, etc..) we might not have that many accidents where people get killed. In my opinion 880 from Fremont to Oakland is the worse stretch of freeway in the Bay Area. You hardly ever seen any CHP officers on that stretch of freeway, and so you get speeders, unsafe lane changes, vehicles that are loaded with cardboard that are two times the size of the vehicle, truckers going to the port that do not care and drive in any lane that they can fit their vehicle into, Oakland PD that uses the freeway to get just to get back to the office and does nothing to these type of drivers they just turn a blind eye to these infractions. So there should be a campaign from CHP to make 880 a safer place for drivers.
