for the person at the Oakland Tribune who drafted the question for this poll which was printed on Page one of the Trib on 6/5/09: "Should former BART Officer Johannes Mehserle be tried for killing Oscar Grant III?" Is there a human being on earth who does not think that this officer must be tried for the killing of this young man? Earth to Oakland Tribune: we are still living in a nation of laws. Mr. Bush has left the building.

Of course he should be tried.
The real question is;
Should he be convicted of murder or manslaughter?
