Ron Dellums is as good a mayor as he was a Congressman which means he's NOT WORTH A DAME.

An arrogant stuff shirt that had never done anything for the city of Oakland or the State of California for that matter. Who only helped his family and friends get rich, of course after helping himself to the trough first.

Should have gone to jail and shined pine years ago.

If for no other reason than being a communist and ardent supporter of Fidel Castro and his regime.

OK, OK. So, I take it you're referring to Missus Dellums, when you say "NOT WORTH A DAME"? Call her a lowlife tax avoider. Call her a little piggie feeding at the public trough. Call her ruthless. Call her incompetent. But, puhleeze, don't call her a DAME. That wouldn't be nice.

I feel sorry for Dellums, more than I feel he needs to go. I didn't vote for him, but in the current economic climate, I don't know if anyone could have done any better; many could have done worse. And it won't be a fun office to run for in the coming year--who wants the headache? (I guess Perata & Quan do.)

If he is not wise enough to stay out of the running for a 2d term, I'm sure he'll lose miserably. I feel he'll be gone soon enough. We can wait until next year's election. In that regard I don't get some of the mean/ugly comments others have posted.
