Is this really a surprise??! Oakland has become THE WORST airport to fly into and out of. They spent millions of dollars and turned the airport into a really nice looking disaster. This airport makes flying unpleasant, and it's an embarrassment to the Bay Area. I've been there when tourists arrive - they're just bewildered by the entire Oakland airport experience, from baggage claim to transit. Definitely NOT a good welcome to the Bay Area. I fly out of SFO whenever possible!
