I totally agree that there should be an investagation into the shooting - BUT - if there is such a concern about innocent people being shot and/or killed where is the riots against gang violence?  I think that there are just a but of people who want to run around and act like fools for any reason they can.  What they did was not an act of protest but one of violence.  If they are truly concerned about the violence then maybe start working with the city instead of against it.
