This will never happen as the information presented in the article states, the bill has been put on hold. It will die an anonymous death despite the best efforts of rabid right-wing radio talkshow hosts. There is a good article today in the New York Times about efforts to help badly wounded Marines gain a new life through film making efforts. When the Marine recruiters recruit, they don't talk about the permanently wounded that return who will never be able to go to college again and have any career. There have been all sorts of false promises and lies told to young people, religious people etc. There are a record number of rapes in today's military followed by a record number of military suicides due to this war. But the posters on this site don't want to address this reality. It's more enjoyable for them to insult anyone who tries to post a truth different than the narrow picture of reality they present. Berkeley is unbowed and unbloodied and so is Oaktown.
