So sorry little baby boy that I couldn't help you! It's gut wrenching how this darling, innocent, little baby boy ended up! No one was looking out for him. All the sickening adults around him are guilty of allowing that ignorant piece of garbage, who was his mother, to put him in harms way! I saw so many "weeping" adults who knew his mother on the news this evening! Where the hell were they for that baby!? Martin only has 2 real victims, the 2 babies he murdered. That disgusting 23yr old woman was just a victim of her own stupidity. The subject of abusive men is ALL OVER THE MEDIA these days so she had NO excuse! Especially after the Jennifer Hudson incident!! She put her child directly in harms way herself! At 23 I was the parent of a baby boy and I gave my life up for him! I can't tell you about the Disco era because I was at home raising him and working full time at night so that he was only either with me or my spouse.
I saw someone who knew her say that she didn't judge anyone! Well, isn't THAT STUPID! That's how you end up dead! Who raised her to stay so stupid, at 23?! Someone should have pulled her aside in anger and demand she grow up & wise up! I would have called the authorities, OH, THAT'S RIGHT! I forgot! WE DON'T SNITCH on each other here in Oakland!!! This is Oakland, let her hang with a thug and expose her darling baby to him! That's right, that's okay in Oakland! We all just stick together no matter what.

Another beast to roam the streets with a firearm. He took of his girlfiends' son, 15 years ago and was allowed to kill again. The child's life was only valued in six years of prison time. He got credited for time served. Ridiculous! I would think, that the justice system would be tougher on these felon's. Shame, shame, this idiot slipped through the cracks, again in 2008 and the final time in 2009. The children had absolutely no chance at life. Just breaks my heart. He should have remained in jail, but a reduced sentence on a plea. I cannot believe it! Another family is left to mourn the lost of two family members. This killer had no regard for human existence (life). Just a very cold, callous animal!
Deep down inside, I knew that heartless monster had also taken the life of that baby. May God Bless The Family of Zoelina Williams and her baby boy, Jashon Williams. Please, young mother's out there, find out more about the men, you surround yourself with, and most of all, wanting to place your babies in the hands of these undesirable's. It is simply not worth the pain! May The Mother and Son Rest In Peace.

You are a heartless person. Though this young lady may have been immature, not paying close attention to people characters, there is a family out here who are in mourning her loss , and the loss of her son. For you to make insensative comments, again you are a heartless person with no SOUL.

How do you only serve 6 years for killing a 3 year old, but more time if you kill a crack head, or even attempted murder, or drug possession? If that guy is found guilty, how long will he serve this time? I don't believe in the death penalty, I'd rather lock somebody up for life. But, I truly feel for that baby, his family, and his late mother. It's just all senseless. I'm from NorCal, currently in SoCal, but read the Oak Trib because of the Raiders (don't know why), but I see sooo much violence still in Oakland. When is the community going to stand up to all this violence? Everyone must have a connection to loosing a loved one or good friend. Govt needs to start putting money where it counts, education throughout K-12 and provide better more accessible opportunities (ie jobs, college, etc) for youth to start turning this thing around. Especially start making women more independent, rather than putting themselves in a situation to be dependent on another. Not say this is the case for this specific situation, but historically and as a community I think it's another significant problem that needs to be addressed. When will enough be enough?

Well let's just hope this time he will NEVER be released back into society ever again.
I hope that he has to constantly look over his shoulders, behind those prison walls for what he done to that young woman, and her beautiful baby boy. He must be punish in a harsh way. A swift KICK DEEP DOWN IN THE CRACK OF HIS A _ _ would be good for starters.

Your line of logic is EXACTLY what continues to propel the acceptance of thuggery here in the Oakland, East Bay, community. You have to learn to recognize that SEEMINGLY "nice" woman, not just the substandard men around them, are JUST AS GUILTY. THEY BREAK THE FIBERS OF SOCIETY AND IT STARTS TO FALL APART! She was only 23. A very immature young woman who did'nt have enough discernment or common sense to see through people. To say that she was heartless: With the exception of her family, none of us here on this blog can say what type of person she truly was. We can only make assumptions without the true facts.
However, she's dead, and I am almost certain that her beautiful baby boy is dead, too. However, she was'nt garbage as you stated in your previous comments. She was just a young woman who was looking for love, unfortunately with the wrong person. But, she did have a family who loved her and her son. The one who killed her, she was garbage to him, and in your comments, she is classified as garbage to you too.
To God, she and her son are now his angels.
May God bless her family with peace through their painful ordeal.
