Please give Mayor Dellums the time that he needs to complete a good budget. I would recommend eliminating all salaries, perks, pensions and other taxpayer-funded payments to all City Council members and their staffs. This would save millions. Before cutting essential services, let's cut the non-essential payments to the Council. They have produced nothing of value and should in fact reimburse the taxpayers [with interest] for all of the public funds that they have taken from us to date.

Let's vote out the 5 incumbents who are running for office on June 3rd. They have been a disaster for Oakland. We have some fine challengers running: including Sean Sullivan in District 3, Charlie Pine for the At-large seat and Pat running against that lady who just discovered crime in Oakland after being in office for over a decade.
