This corrupt Oakland city official is finally on her way out. After too many years of using her office to influence the PD and hire family members, she got caught in the act. Hats off to the Oakland PD and the chief for not giving in! Hopefully she is he subject of a grand jury investigation.

WHAT WAS SHE SUPPOSE TO DO? THEY WERE AND ARE RAIL ROADING THESE YOUNG MEN! SOMEONE NEEDS TO HELP THEM! THE MAYOR AND HIS STAFF WONT ACTUALLY HE IS THE ONE HURTING THEM!!!

SHOUTING does not make your point any more important.
The young man in question, her nephew, had a gun in his car. Was that just an accident? Generally speaking the Oakland PD arrests people that they can be sure will be prosecuted, like the drug dealers and gang members.
The young men will have their day in court.
Edgerly has NO BUSINESS interfering in a police investigation. If she thought there was a problem she had EVERY right to call Jordan. However THREATENING to do so IS interfering with the officers. Making threats to police officers IS illegal and I hope she does some jail time. Again she has every right to make the call, but no right to threaten them when they are IN THE process of arresting someone. That's just stupid.
If these young me stayed away from drugs and THUGZ they would not be in jail.

I SHOUT BECAUSE OTHER WISE NO WILL LISTEN(YOU ARE NOT CHATTING WITH A TALKER, YOU ARE CHATTING WITH A DOER HOW ABOUT YOU)?!! TELL ME THIS HOW DO YOU STAY AWAT FROM DRUGS AND THUGZ WHEN YOUR WHOLE FAMILY IS AND HAS BEEN YOUR WHOLE LIFE?!
AND THERE DAY IN COURT DOES NOT REASSURE ME ONE BIT, WILL IT BE A FAIR DAY IN COURT??? AND AS FAR AS THE POLICE THEY HAVE BEEN LOP SIDED!!! ALL THE MONEY OAKLAND HAS PAID OUT AND YOU ARE DEFENDING THEM (YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WITH THEM)? IT WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPER TO PUT THEM ON PAY ROLL!!!!

How do you stay away? Devote your life to getting out of a bad situation instead of staying in and being part of it.
Put them on payroll? Do you understand that "payroll" is not some right that people are born to? That work, diligence, and attention ( as well as attitude) are how you "get on payroll". That payroll is NOT a reward for living in Acorn? That the city is NOT the fountain of "payroll" that you deserve because you were born?

THE CITY IS OBLIGATED TO ITS CITIZENS THEY ARE FUNDING PROGRAMS FOR THIS REASON WHATS WRONG? EVERYBODY THINK THEY KNOW EVERYTHING AND DONT KNOW ANYTHING! THEY REFUSE TO LISTEN TO THE STREET! ALL THAT INVESTIGATING AND ARREST AND WE HAVE FOUR MURDERS IN TWELVE HOURS?! IF THEY WOULD LISTEN TO THE STREET THEY WOULD NOT HAVE TO GUESS! NOW THEY HAVE ARRESTED ALL THESE PEOPLE IN WHICH MOST OF THEM WANTED TO CHANGE THEIR WAY OF LIVING FOR NOTHING THE KILLING CONTIUES AND ONLY GETS WORSE! IF THEY WOULD JUST LISTEN EVERYTIME THEY TRY SOMETHING IT BACKFIRES!

Actually if the citizens commit criminal acts against other citizens and property, the obligation is gone. The city is not momma and daddy, its a bunch of people hired to run the city and allow citizens to work and own property. It is not there to give handouts to criminals.

If that were the case it would be no citizens! We all break the law I mean arrestable offences! You cant get in your car on the driver side on certain streets, tell me how many times you got in your car on the passenger side? Breaking the law is breaking the law right or wrong? Oh no I forgot we are talking about underprivileged African americans, who woke up and said I want to put my life on the line everyday?!

Death and jail is always around me! Since this time last week I have had twenty people go to jail and two or three die, Im not sure the jury is still out! Im hands on! But I will tone it down because I want to be heard! If I get heard by open minds this thing will change almost over-night! If I had the city behind me on a rebuild hype thugs and killers would not stand a chance!!!!!!!!! Thats my word!!! But as long as they are investigating and not putting their ears to the street the killing will continue!!!

I think that was the most stupid thing she could've done is to go over there and speak on her nephews behalf..Come on now, at that point she put her job in jeopardy trying to save him. I'm quite sure she was thinking of it after she found out that he had a gun in the vehicle..What I don't get is why the car was never towed, they let him or her get away with the gun in order to continue the investigation? Sounds to me like they can care less if people are being killed. Who cares if she was calling internal affairs, they saw a gun which is grounds to confiscate the vehicle....
