The stock market has dropped almost a thousand points in two weeks; the dollar is plunging against the Euro, oil prices are soaring and eating up household vacation monies, and we are headed towards a REAL recession.  But guess what?  The cretins are all worried about a little city that wanted to shut down a marine recruiting station in order to make a symbolic statement about  a hopeless occuption that is bleeding our country financially to death.  You think the cretins are worried? 

Heck no! (And they won't go, either).  The retired warmongers, and wannabe warmakers are kvelling away!  They've invented a cause, enemy and struggle for which they won't have to put themselves at risk.

They wouldn't know a  REAL issue if it knocked them off of their keisters! (maybe they might feel an earthquake, possibly maybe.....) I hope it doesn't happen but maybe if the Hayward fault just let loose with just enough of a jolt to perhaps shock people back into their gourds about what is really important in this world if might be a good thing.  Not they I want anyone to get hurt--Mean and ugly is their area of expertise, not mine.

And you know, because they have such a lame field of candidates running in the Repugnant's Party for President it kinda explains why they are so sour, crabby and irritable these days.  Explains things, but it doesn't excuse the absurd ruckus they've cooked up when we have far more serious problems both locally and nationally. 

Yep, it will take Mother Nature or a more cataclysmic economic or political event to remind these folks just what truly is important in this world if anything can stir them out of their Roman delusions.  In the mean time, I guess we'll just have to sit back and be entertained watching how truly juvenile and ignorant the right wing is in this world.

Meanwhile, I'm waiting for them to end the federal funding for Berkeley including the Lawrence Livermore Lab.  Let's see how far they take THEIR stupid charade!  How much you wanna bet it won't happen?
