What is interesting to me is that of all the talent the Raiders have at their finger-tips, there is an incomprehensible miscarriage of justice regarding recognition of talent that is available immediately. In my last post my position was to bring back Gary Russell. I liked G Russel from what I observed during the pre-seasons games. Need I say more? This post is in reference to Jerome Boyd. During the preseason and during the exhibition pre-seasons games he had a remarkable number of tackles that up to now appear to go unnoticed. This is a young man that needs an opportunity to show his skill on the field. At 6'2" 220, he might be a tad small for a linebacker position and might fit better as a stong safety. Regrdless of the position, this young man has heart and steel to go with it. He is a rookie and needs to be given the opportunity to develope. He is an individul that needs to be looked at especially now that the defense of the Raiders is capable of winning games by an exclusive modus operand; shutting down an opposing offense ( if the trend can continue). The defense will give J Russell an opportunity to develope at the rate of his individual evolution. Jerome Boyd would add strength to the rotation of the defense. If an opposing offense can not score and if the Raiders continue to grow offensively ...there may appear light at the bottom of the abyss. Who knows? Maybe a playoff birth......the Eagles...I love it....keep on track...DO YOUR JOB!!
