Just to clarify...Keller had every chance to lead a national contender at the Arizona State University. However, the statement "I got my job taken away" attempts to resolve the situation by putting the blame on someone other than himself. It was his off-the-field actions which lead his team members to state their preference for Rudy Carpenter. There were, and still are, many Sun Devil faithful who wish that Keller had prepared for the role and accepted the leadership component associated with QB for a rising power like ASU. However, his off-the-field actions, combined with his lack of apparent preparation and dedication to the program lead to his LOSING the job. It was NOT taken away.

We Sun Devil faithful wish Sam a successful career. We don't accept someone into the Sun Devil family just to forget him when he chooses to leave. Sam will always be a Sun Devil at a certain level. We just wish he and his father would quit blaming others for his failures or shortcomings. Accept some personal responsibility.
