You have got to love these lawmakers!  Good idea!  Let's free these teenagers who have committed heinous crimes because, well, they were young when they had the notion to commit murder.  I suppose the thinking is - If only they had some life experience they would not have done what they did.  I say it is more like - That was my opening act.  Wait until I am old enough to use more drugs, drink more and become more twisted than I was when I was a teen (think Jared Adams!)  Then you will see what I am really capable of doing to society!  I also like how they use "Sara" as the example.  Who wouldn't be sympathetic to a young girl killing her pimp?  I am certain that was no great loss; however, maybe we should know a few of the details about how she killed him.  That might reduce the sympathy level, and be reason for pause before we set her free.  Regardless, I doubt the majority of teen killers have stories similar to Sara's.  Let's keep the little savages in prison so they can't reproduce and create more little savages to run amok in society.  Knowing Dellums, he'll probably ask to have them all released to Oakland so they can participate in his ill conceived parolee re-entry program.  Better yet Mr. Dellums might be able to get them on with the Oakland Police Dept. since he says they are having a difficult time recruiting from the pool of "home grown" applicants.
