I live in Delaware about 20 miles south of Philly and even though I have always been a Phillies fan and season ticket holder, I have been a A's fan longer. I would change my season tickets to A's season tickets in a second if they moved back to Philly. I think fans in Philly would support the A's tremendously since I think personally the American League is more fun. It would also create a rival similar to the Giants and A's but if a bunch of Philly fans came together it would be like a Raiders/Eagles game. I always see a lot of empty seats at the Coliseum when the A's are on TV. It looked like there were only about 10,000 when they played the Phils in Oakland a couple weeks ago. Citizens Bank Park is almost sold out every night. The only chance I ever get to see the A's is when they are in Baltimore or New York. I did see them once during interleague in Philly. I have never been to the Bay Area and always wanted to go to see the A's in Oakland.  My father who played in Phillies minors, feels the same as I do. The A's can't afford to keep the big players (Harden, Swisher, Chavez next?) but are always in contention. When people do not come out to see you it can become dishearting. If you were Harden, wouldn't you rather play in front of a capacity crowd every night at Wrigley?

I started a poll to see what you think about the A's coming back to Philly. I would like see what people vote on. Check the poll.

GO A's
