this is just wrong.... the reason the papers aren't doing so well here in Washington is. the Auto Dealers that supported them by placing ads. full page, color ads... have been closed down, by the government because they believe that dealers were an expense to the manufacturers... and those few that are left...aren't wasting their advertising dollars on something that kept agreeing that they should all be closed down. and what businesses are next? who is going to bail out the small towns that are going to lose 50% of their budget because of lost revenues from the only dealer in town, are they going to cut the polce force in half? or the fire dept? does anyone even realize how many small towns are dependent on their local dealer for support, or how many businesses within each small town will now close. you have no idea... yet the state choses to bail out the newspapers, i hope they are prepared to bail out the rest of the state businesses too!
