Can't you see that this fool is crazy, his mind is gone as well as his life. I know he feels like sh-t while sitting in Alameda county jail because thats what that place makes you feel like, The family should know that all he will be thinking about other than the riots, fights, [bleep] from the gaurds, over crowded prisons, gangs, and no women, is what he did to your son. The food is not that bad if you are a pig and there are plenty of other fools in there mad as hell and just waiting for a young buck who thinks this thing called life is a JOKE.
I think he was crying in court not joking around, lets see how he likes the big San Q on the bay. i Can tell you that place is a wake yp call to hell ,i've been there and it is cold dark and ulgy, when the crazy ones start screeeeeming at night and the lights go out and you can't read, all you can think of is how do i get out of here. To the family i feel your loss and i know his pain will be great for a long time.

It is painful for any parent to lose their child, but when a animal viciously kills another human being and thinks it is a joke, and to top it off by laughing, is indeed a sick individual. When his pitiful self is locked away for the next 40 years, see if he'll be laughing then. Being inside a dark, cold and lonely place of hell is no picnic in the park.

Ain't that the truth. The worst way to lose your dignty is to be helpless just before being stuck like a pig w/ all your peers standing there watching. This kid is going in w/ his chest poked out & the wrong attitude. He doesn't stand a chance. The other thing you said about crying reminded me of a Samoan young adult who laughed & joked the same way, yet after he got sentenced on the murder & his parents came to see him before he was shipped off, he cried like a baby. My nephew told me they told him that he got all that time b/c he showed no remorse. One of the problems is that some youths, even adults, don't know how to express their feelings, and again it stems from the homefront. This kid is a perfect example. I heard his mother or aunt tried to help him dispose the Derial's body. Instead of getting him help, she supposedly drove someone else to drop it off in the bottoms "first" hoping to make it look like those kids did it due to the ongoing fued. A tipster reported it & everybody was talking about it, furious. I cant remember b/c it's been so long but some of it was in the news. There was alot more to this which the media didn't cover also.
Unfortunately, some of these young men are also products of abuse by immature fathers or stepfathers who also teach them from an early age that compassion & emotions in a man is an expression of cowardness. It's a cycle just like females who learn to accept abuse from watching their mothers accepting it. Until someone from another generation seeks therapy & breaks that cycle, these families continue cranking out kids w/ issues who grow up to be immature adults w/ issues.

hatelies What can any of us say, I lost a child that i raised for my sister and it hurt, although it was my sisters child the pain was still great. I know your pain must be much greater, I have only one son and he's 15, when his mother moved him to Sacramento i was mad as hell. when i see him now i say thank God she was smart enough to get him out of a place where the city leaders just sit and watch there people die. Your pain will never go away and you should demand like so many of us do, that the city council do what it takes to prevent acts of this kind.
Larry Reid is the chair of the public safety committee, his number is 238-3266, everybody call him and ask him what his efforts has been to deal with the prevention of all crimes. Is answer will be ,nothing or lies. This mother as well as the rest of the people in this place should know.
