This needs to come from the homes not school. I teach my children at home to respect others and their differences..why can't other parents? Our schools hardly have enough time to teach the kids basics, now they want to take time away from that to teach them something that should be taught at home? I would refuse to send my child as well but only because they ARE taught at HOME acceptance and tolerance and respect..for others.
