Coach Collins at Amador Valley in Pleasanton resigned this year for a lot of the same reasons. Seniors that had played basketball for three years got left off of the school team, and some suspected that it was because they didn't participate in summer leagues that Collins coached.

A LOT of seniors in many sports were not picked for varsity squads at Amador this year, and a lot of parents were very upset. the focus has turned to winning at any cost rather than promoting school spirit.
