I've always felt that we need father figures, being that me and my homies lacked them growing up...I question that.

I'd like to point out, that at this stage of aiding the development of young people, we are building character, not Heismann winners. I remember years ago coaching a little league team, and as the season was winding down, my son and I attended a game between an arch rival and a third team, to scout the talent. A Dad in the crowd began a verbal assault on the coach of the third team. (You know the kind and the verbage, I dont have to go there). I overheard two young players exclaim, "Gee, why dont they act like adults!" Nuf said
