Earlier this month, the paper did a story on a former Burlingame cop whom I beginning in 1969 got to know the family I would say well, but after reading your article I guess not so! I have no complaints about the females in this matter, it seems to be a male issue, as I understand it. I can remember female adults asking his wife why her husband was so close to his daughters. The wife, in reply, as you seem to suggest was she trusted her husband. Growing up in East Palo Alto, and being bused to attend high school in Belmont, I was a bit shocked on learning after 11 years of never losing a single book I decided to do it eventhough I had been cleared along with my graduating partner for graduatation. In other words, I could neither nor my graduating partner graduate if either she or I owed Sequoia Unified School District a red cent! After graduation, I was told by the guy the attorney general convicted of molesting not only his grand daughter in Belmont but also in San Diego where she lived I owed for a misplaced book he was told about but not me as he paid off the book's fine to the high school in Belmont. What am I supposed to think, in light of a White Cherokee who told her female Cherokee cousin on the bus to Belmont, "Everyone who rides the bus in the district is going to get screwed!" Therefore, is it ok for the high school football team to be cleared by the principal of stealing not one but two trips of pickup trucks filled with beer stolen off local railroad yards? If and only if the answer here is no, then why would a black guy from East Palo Alto not known as a heroin dealer amonst herion dealers in East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park, yet when he was set to go to college, after playing varsity basketball in Belmont he winds up convicted of selling heroin in East Palo Alto? Why would he bus himself to Belmont, from East Palo Alto, just to sell heroin when East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park also has [had] it before he was bused to Belmont? Maybe you can get clean cops to answer this, because the ones I knew at the house where they have a steroids [the son] and child rape problem of a grand daughter [the father ] seem to have excluded themselves from this equation!
