California Oak Foundation had about $450,000 income in 2006 and 88K went to the President - Janet S Cobb, who also received 50K from CA Wildlife Foundation. Much more was spent fighting UC Berkeley in court over the Stadium plans. Saving old oaks? wasting charitable donations? you decide. Did "saving" People's Park accomplish anything of value? Most Berkeleyans say no. Would "saving" these Oaks and preventing a stadium be an accomplishment? Again Berkelyans are are intelligent bunch and they will agree over time that this effort is misguided at best. Paying 20% of your foundation's income to the President? Always a bad sign.
