I left Oakland and moved to Livermore because of the crime in Oakland. I moved from Livermore to El Sobrante because of the crime in Livermore. I am now going to move from El Sobrante to "somewhere" soon because of the crime. What's a woman and her small familt to do???

It's a matter of what you can live with and what you can live without. You can move into a million dollar neighborhood, Martha's Vineyard, Key West, Hollywood , Piedmont, Sausalito, Nob Hill it does not matter where there is mankind there will always be crime.

Stop voting for people who allow crime to infest neighborhoods. Start voting for people who believe in harsher punishment for criminals. Start voting for people who believe in personal morals. Start voting for people who demand personal responsility and financialy responsibility.
These are the only ways to keep your neighborhoods clean. As long as you let people live in your neighborhood who do not care about themselves, their community, or their jobs then you will continue to let people in who don't care about you.
I say a revolt in California is at hand. Don't you?

Buy a gun and learn to be proficient with it. Carry it everywhere. I've packed fully loaded for 30 years and no one knows, don't think of it as a weapon it is a tool. Yes my cars been searched a couple times but the police haven't found iy. Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6
