Lew wants us to pay outrageous ticket prices to watch a AAA team--though a beloved AAA team! How do you raise ticket prices and then trade every recognizable player away? I know it is for the future, but it is for the Fremont future and not for the Oakland fans that have been around for decades. It just seems Lew Wolff doesn't give a damn about the Oakland fans and it benefits him to have an empty stadium.

I look at other owners like Arte Moreno, who lowered ticket prices when he bought his team, and increased the player payroll. And what do you know, people started coming out to the games. It isn't a novel concept. But I think that is the difference between and owner who loves baseball and respected the established fan base vs. an owner who is a business man and just wants to make money. I know Lew goes to every game, but I truly believe he doesn't care at all about Oakland fans. He has his eye on the San Jose fans--they may not know anything about baseball, but they have money. It will be a sad day when the  A's fans are regarded the way Giant's fans are.
